Your Fundraising Potential

Raising money is not as difficult as it seems. Most people would give what they can if a number of factors are in place. These are: a) they are directly asked to donate money to you, b) they are told how easy it is to give, c) they believe in the cause and d) they are told how much you want from them.

Well, if you used these factors to ask all your contacts, how much could you raise?

To find out, read the following pyramid from the bottom upwards. People at the bottom are those you should ask first for donations. The higher you go, the less likely they are to sponsor you. The higher on the pyramid you go, the more people you need to ask to get just one donation.
It's easy, just fill in the number at the end of each section and then add up each category to see how much money you can raise for the Challenge!

Entering as a Team

How about forming a team to represent your company, club or organisation?

All you need to do is get 1 - 8 people together and agree to raise up to £8,000 combined for Snow-Camp. Teams that represent businesses or brands will get the opportunity to secure a corporate sponsorship package for the year following the challenge at levels ranging from £500 (A One Star Bursary sponsor) to £20,000 (Gold Sponsorship - our highest level, which is reserved for just one company or brand). See our Coroporate Sponsorship table for more details.

Forming non-corporate teams also has its benefits. Raising money as a team my mean having to raise less as individuals. Teams of 6, 7 or 8 people need to only raise about 1,300 , 1,200 , or 1,000 each (respectively) in order to reach the £8,000 target. All you need to do is get some friends or colleague together, decide on a unique defining feature that will distinguish your team from others doing the Challenge. (ie: fancy dress, uniform kit, a certain type of hat, bandana etc.)

All teams will get adequate exposure during the Challenge and branding opportunities throughout the lead up to the event. See our TnCs for more details.
